Onboarding Employees and Groups

We value your business and our new members. You can be confident we’ll help make implementation easy and provide excellent customer service.

Implementing KP Plus

If you are a large business or large employer, A Kaiser Permanente Installation Consultant will be assigned to team up with your group. This consultant will be your main point of contact for all installation questions, and acts to resolve any issues that could interfere with a timely implementation. After your group is set up, you’ll be transitioned to your ongoing account management team.

Onboarding your group

All groups that select KP Plus are built into the Kaiser Permanente system.

The three major milestones that are monitored are:

  • Rates and benefits set up and validated in KP systems
  • Eligibility is loaded timely and accurately so members can access services on the effective date
  • ID cards are mailed prior to the effective date

Welcoming new employees/members

We’ll help ensure your employees understand plan features and can take advantage of its benefits. Our comprehensive New Member Welcome program includes:

  • A member ID Card with helpful information about getting started
  • A new member welcome guide to getting started and getting care
  • An optional onboarding call from a customer specialist. New employees/members can call our help line for any questions, from accessing care to transferring prescriptions
